everyone from families in crisis to frugal shoppers. Revenue goes
directly toward MIFA’s programs – and over 40,000 purchases were made
in MIFA's thrift store last year.

The MIFA Store offers great prices on quality merchandise donated by the community – new and gently used clothing, outerwear, shoes, accessories, books, small appliances, and other household items. $100 helps build a wheelchair ramp for a homebound senior
$50 provides 8 hours of employment for a Teen Jobs student
$25 provides food vouchers for 4 families in need

Donated items can be dropped off on the thrift store's back dock (behind our building at 910 Vance) Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. or at
these drop-off locations. We accept most items, but please use common sense in selecting your items, and refrain from donating damaged items or hazardous materials.
All donations must be in good condition and working order. Please use discretion when making a donation. Items we
cannot accept include:
• Used building materials
• Used children’s toys
• Used car seats
• Non-working appliances
• Electrical items with torn, frayed, or broken cords
• Chemicals, pesticides, or flammable materials
• Personal care or food products that have been opened, repackaged, or are expired
• Perishable food items (i.e. fresh produce, bakery items, and refrigerated or frozen items)
