Position: Creative Graphic Specialist, Full-time

Qualifications
1. College degree in graphic design or related area and minimum of two years experience (other combinations of education and experience may be considered)
2. In-depth knowledge of Apple/Mac platform, InDesign, Quark Xpress, Illustrator, Photoshop and related software
3. Basic understanding of web design; knowledge of HTML and DreamWeaver is preferable
4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and materials, and prioritize workflow to meet multiple deadlines for various departments
5. Exceptional creative skills and the ability to conceptualize and execute print designs
6. Ability to design layouts from written instructions and to reformat and revise until task is completed
7. Good written communication skills with the ability to assist with copywriting
8. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute to team strategies and concepting, while also preserving the MIFA image
9. Ability to create within branding standard to preserve MIFA’s graphic image
10. Ability to layout and design all MIFA print materials and publications including the donor magazine and annual report
11. Flexibility to change

Position: Security Guard, Part-time (on call & Saturdays)

Qualifications
1. High School diploma or equivalent and two years of security experience
2. Knowledge of security systems
3. Ability to communicate effectively in an emergency situation
4. Must possess a valid driver’s license
5. Must be able to pass MIFA Driver Safety Program

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
1. Follow the security procedures set up for MIFA while guarding the 910 Vance facilities
2. Activate and deactivate the security system in the morning and evening as appropriate
3. Perform routine inspections of the property as scheduled and report problems to the proper authority
4. Be familiar with MIFA Policies Manual and MIFA Mission Statement and relate them to daily work
5. Make routine inspections of MIFA property twice a day
6. Be visible at all times to MIFA employees and clients
