At MIFA, we believe everyone deserves a life filled with independence,
hope and dignity. Our community needs us, and we need you. Because of
increased costs for basic items such as fuel and food, MIFA needs your
support now more than ever. We depend on you and others who share your
values of faith, compassion and generosity. And you can trust that
your dollars make a difference - 86% of every dollar you give goes directly to MIFA’s programs.

Individual donors are essential to MIFA’s success. Your gifts help
us touch thousand of lives each year. Individuals can support MIFA in a
variety of ways: annual gifts, tribute gifts, special campaigns,
planned gifts, and in-kind gifts.
Corporate partnerships benefiting MIFA offer unique opportunities for
businesses and organizations to help change lives and provide hope to
our community. Corporations can support MIFA through various
sponsorships and volunteer projects. Partnering with MIFA also aligns
your business with one of the most effective and respected non-profit
agencies in Memphis and allows a chance for you to connect with our
large, diverse audience of supporters, volunteers and consumers. Your

MIFA screens clients and administers funds collected by MLGW's Plus-1 Program. MLGW customers can
sign up to give monthly to Plus-1, and these donations provide families in crisis with utilities assistance.
